Crystal stick deodorant is the single best deodorant one can use. I once got this is a gift, and was puzzled about how it works and about whether it would work at all, till I tried it. I guess it adds so much salt to the skin that no bacteria can survive in that environment. This is NOT an anti-perspirant, so you will continue to sweat as usual. However, if you do sweat, there will be absolutely NO smell. It is amazingly effective. There is no residue on your skin or on your clothes. I am not sure if Aluminum deodorants are safe/unsafe, but they are definitely much less effective than salt - I stopped using other deodorants/anti-perspirants once I discovered crystal salt.

I finally got sick of bright red underarms from traditional deodorant and decided this was worth a shot. I was pleased to discover that it actually works, even after driving around in Florida in August with no air conditioning. It does not stop sweat, but it does stop odor, and it does not irritate or stain. You do have to apply it with water, which might be a drawback in some situations. The other possible drawback is that after shaving, it stings. Overall, I am glad to finally have a deodorant that kills odor without killing my skin.

I have tried many deodorants in my life. Some have worked, others failed big time. I have done extensive research on the different ingedients in deodorants and was shocked. I was poisoning myself daily each time I used my deodorant. So I decided to try something natural. At first I thought there was no way a deodorant made of salts could out perform deodorant made from toxins and aluminum. BOY WAS I WRONG! Just because you can't see a whole bunch of deodorant piled under your arms, doesn't mean it's not working. I used the crystal stick afraid that it would give up on me in a hour or so. Come to find out, it lasted ALL day. You still sweat a little but there is NO SMELL. I am now a beleiver of crystal deodorant products. I urge anyone to please give it a try. The slightly higher price can be justified with a longer lasting product. Most importantly though, a more healthier life. I'm sure you will make the right decision.

This product works wonderfully & truly does last at least a year, if not longer. The only "disclaimer" is that you need to be sure you are applying it to CLEAN underarms. If you're already stinky not only will i NOT remove the smell (or cover it up), it makes your stone stinky too. If i do not shower (like before going to the gym) i do a quick "pit wash" in the sink & then apply it. of course as with all natural deodorants there is no wetness protection, but it does work well for odor protection. I typically apply it directly after showering/washing before drying off, so i have wet skin instead of wetting the stone.

I discovered this product when my son was suffering from the torturous summer heat and humidity in Korea and he was begging me for a solution to keep fresh while working outside every day. It worked for him, so I started using it myself, now everyone in the family is using it. It doesn't keep you from sweating, but your sweat doesn't smell or stain (most people would agree that keeping your body from sweating when you're hot is a bad idea anyway). Turns out that the smell comes not from sweat, but from the bacteria that grows in sweat over time. The mineral salts in the Crystal Stick create a barrier that prevents bacteria growth for at least a day, and I've had it last 2-3 days when I've been camping and unable to shower.
It's very economical compared to other deodorants. You need to apply it right after you shower so the bacteria doesn't get a start. There is no need to reapply it between showers, even for me (and I sweat a lot!!). I do a lot of musical theatre, and costumes can get pretty smelly, even with weekly laundering/dry cleaning. I've used the Stick for the last couple of shows I've done, and voila! No more smelly costumes. The show I'm in right now is double cast, so I share a costume with my counterpart. I told him about Crystal Stick, and now neither of us have to suffer. Everyone I've recommended it to swears by it.
We learned that it's better to wet your underarm (either with water mist or just don't dry off out of the shower) than to run the stick under the faucet as it directs on the label--that will not only use it up faster, but it will cause the stick to pit and crack, making it very uncomfortable to use.

I love this stuff, it lasts forever and you get no sticky residue on your skin or on your clothing. It lets you breathe and sweat without odor and works great on your feet, if you're a dancer you'll value this immensely!

No need to wet it just rub it under your damp arms after you shower. Results are good at first but after a few weeks of use you will have no oder. Under arm stains are a thing of the past too. No yellow marks on your white or light color shirts either.

I have been trying to find an "aluminum-free" deodorant the works for the last two years--I tried Tom's of Maine and another lavender type but they just could not keep up. I had my doubts about Crystal Body Stick, but I decided to give it a try and bought the 4 pack. I gave it to a few ladies in the office--we all report 100% no odor or residue. It's a 10--we are now buying for sisters, mothers, and friends--Excellent product!

I wanted to wait a year before reviewing and now I can tell everyone how great Crystal is! I've been searching for a good deodorant since high school!
Crystal doesn't completely stop the sweat but I don't care. There is no smell with this stuff, I just came back from a hike and I smell great.
I LOVE this!
AND I'm still on my first stick, does this stuff ever wear out? Anyway, I'll be using this FOREVER! Try it!

I have been looking for years for a deoderant that doesn't leave ANY trace what so ever on my black clothes. Well, this is it! Forget about all those commercials geared towards women, about their deoderant not leaving any white residue. I've tried them ALL! Trust me! I have a cabinet full of their junk! To my dissapointment, all of them left very visible white marks! Well, my search is OVER! I read about Crystal body stick a week ago and decided to try it. Not only did it leave me with no odor (during a crazy day, that others would have failed me and I would have found myself re-applying) but this did not leave ANY and I mean ANY white residue or marks on my black clothing! This is an awesome product! I pray it never ever goes off the market, for my search is OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is BY FAR the best deodorant I've ever used and I've tried a bunch of them over the years. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical, but after using it daily for over a month now, I'm amazed how effective it is. It easily lasts an entire day on me with no smell whatsoever. What's also interesting is how little I sweat using this deodorant. Super product!!!
